Well...the time has come for me to take the ACT a second time (Saturday, that is). I would reeeally appreciate everyone's prayers. This score is going to determine a lot in financial aid...
For all of you that are going to see The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe this Friday night, no spoilers. :P I don't get to see it until Sunday. *sniff*

I guess I don't really thnk too much about it. I've got friends. My friends have friends. If you're like most normal human beings on the planet, you probably have friends, too. Everyone knows someone else. People were designed to interact and coexist with other people. It's not that big of a deal. People like to be around other people. So what?
Genesis 2:18 - The LORD God said, "It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper suitable for him."
God gave us other people so that we wouldn't be alone. It isn't good for us to be alone. It's bad to be alone. I get extremely depressed when I'm alone for long periods of time. Most people do. People need companionship. That's why God gave Adam Eve.
And I've started thinking about that since I've been at my best friend's house for five days now. It's fun. We laugh together, we get the inside jokes (moo! *stick tongue out*), but more importantly, we're both sisters in Christ. Thank you, Jesus, for such good friends!

Hallo, everyone. Sorry I haven't blogged more, but life has been pretty crazy lately. I have family coming down this week, and they're staying until Friday. I have to work Friday and Saturday. I have to work really hard on school this week and next week, because the Thursday after Thanksgiving I'm going to a friend's house in Houston. (Yay! I get to have lunch with Pr. Borghardt...aren't you all jealous? ;-P) Sooo...I probably won't blog a whole lot over the next couple weeks. Y'all have a happy Thanksgiving!

Aaand... for those of you that HAVE voted on the HT poll for the Pastor's Cage Match, you still need to send an email to Pr. Borghardt if you want to have a Pastor Cage Match at The Feast. Details can be found here. Sounds cool, huh? I wonder if we could set up a "Pastor Jeopardy" someday... Hmm...

Cool, huh? I just need $450...I work, though, so it's no sweat. Because I'm going to The Feast, I'm not going to the concert this Friday. One night at a concert, or four days at a super awesome conference? I'd take four days at a super awesome conference. Duh.
Other than that...life's not been too busy. I was sick for four days with the flu. I'm finally getting over that. I've been working hard at school...and I figured out that I get tons more in scholarships if I raise my GPA to a 3.8...which means that I have to get straight A's this year. Including math. Which is doable...it's just that I've never had an A average in math in my life. So, I've been busy with school and trying to make sure my grades don't slip.
