Bloghardt's Reflector

“If now I seek the forgiveness of sins, I do not run to the cross, for I will not find it given there… But I will find in the sacrament or Gospel the word which distributes, presents, offers, and gives to me that forgiveness which was won on the Cross.” (AE 40, 214)

An Open Letter to Coach Les Miles

Posted At: 1:54am by Bloghardt
Dear Coach Miles,

You just plain rock. Great pass.  Great call.   We simply cannot thank you enough for all that you do as our coach.

We love LSU.  We love to win.  We don't care how we do it.  If we have to win with one second to go, we'll take it.

We may need medication or open heart surgery afterwards, but we'll take it.

Thank you for all you do!  Please tell the team that we love them and are pulling for them.

In Christ,

Pastor George Borghardt
Youth/Assistant Pastor
St. Mark Lutheran Church

P.S.  Could someone please send me some blood pressure meds?

Re: An Open Letter to Coach Les Miles

(Not being a fan) I have found that the most exciting team to watch this year is LSU. After Maryland lost to Virginia by being screwed on a bad ball placement by the refs, we flipped over to the LSU game. It was well worth staying up late (in Eastern Time Zone) to watch LSU on HDTV. I just wish Notre Dame was as exciting to watch.

Go Terps!
