Bloghardt's Reflector

“If now I seek the forgiveness of sins, I do not run to the cross, for I will not find it given there… But I will find in the sacrament or Gospel the word which distributes, presents, offers, and gives to me that forgiveness which was won on the Cross.” (AE 40, 214)

Bloghardt's IT!

Posted At: 7:22pm by Bloghardt

My new friend Pastor Schaaf at Pastor Disaster & The Backsliders tagged me after he was tagged by Pastor Peperkorn.

Here are five random of Bloghardt-facts that few people know:

  1. Although I get carded every time I try to buy an adult beverage, I'm actually thirty-two years young. I got my undergraduate degree in 1996 from Louisiana State University in Classical Latin. I actually didn't go to the seminary at Fort Wayne. I am a St. Louis guy.

  1. Things I don't like (in order of increasing annoyance): driving, heights, feet, umpa lumpas, and clowns.

  2. I've never seen "The Sound of Music."

  3. I'm not originally from Texas, I'm from South Louisiana. We went to our honeymoon in Texas and drove through Conroe without knowing it. I vicared in Conroe too. Everyone should celebrate my birthday, which is on Texas Independence Day.

  4. On the rare occasion when I get REALLY upset, my Southern accent comes out. When my wife is real upset or angry (never at me - grin), her Cajun accent comes out.

I tag my Femlems (every last one of them) and Pastor Zill (grin).

Re: Bloghardt's IT!

Umm...I tagged you before those other guys.

You can't stand driving, eh? Does your heights annoyance carry into flying? parachuting? bungee-jumping? cliff diving?

Not missing much WRT 'The Sound of Music' - it's a romance movie disguised with music - don't let anyone trick you into watching it.
