Bloghardt's Reflector

“If now I seek the forgiveness of sins, I do not run to the cross, for I will not find it given there… But I will find in the sacrament or Gospel the word which distributes, presents, offers, and gives to me that forgiveness which was won on the Cross.” (AE 40, 214)

MN: More Votes than Voters?

Posted On: January 05th, 2009 at 4:27 pm

Yep, you heard it.  In the MN Senatorial Election, the total number of votes is some MN precincts are now more than the the total number of registered voters.  Don't fret!  Those precincts are counting gains for Franken!

And with each passing day, more votes get found!  Surprised?  I predicted it here a month ago.  And I thought Louisiana elections were crocked...

"Welcome to MN... where not every voter counts and some count twice..."

Franken was certified as the winner today, but Coleman is suing as there were many absentee ballots that were disqualified. Yes previously disqualified ballots, once requialified were in Franken's favor. Confused yet?

Heh, are you really surprised? MN is one of the most liberal states in the union, maybe next to New York city and and California excluding the OC.

The problem is the Coleman wasn't much better than Franken will be. But I suppose lesser of the evils is still better...or is it still evil?

Hm, I thought it was only Chicago where one could "vote early and vote often". . .
