LSU vs. Arkansas. It's for the Golden Boot. But, more importantly, the National Championship is still within reach! You can watch it on CBS at 1pm. Because of my good buddy John, I'm going to be watching it live. Yes, I'll be at Death Valley!

I love the enthusiasm by Michigan fans and bloggers about Les Miles returning to his alma mater. I don't think it's a slam dunk. But, it is intriguing. First, we have to assume that Michigan will offer Les the job. That's no guarantee nor is it a given. Simply because the press is stirring the pot doesn't mean that the Big Blue will think that Les is more.

LSU vs. Alabama for the SEC West.
This is a must win.
To understand this... you have to understand the SEC.
Nick Saban came from MSU (Michigan State) to LSU and turned the LSU football program around. He was ... a hero. We went from losing to a BCS championship. It was... amazing. Saban could have run for the governor of Louisiana and won.
When he left LSU for the Miami Dolphins, it was understandable. He said that he wasn't going to go, then he did. But, we were happy that we had had him. He was amongst the greatest couches in our history. It's like a favorite minor leaguer being promoted to the big leagues. It's the NFL. Geaux Nick! Geaux!
