Happy Thanksgiving!

Dear friends in Christ,

I wanted to wish y'all a Happy Turkey Day!

As you gather together to celebrate a day of Thanksgiving, my prayer is that you will thank Your Heavenly Father for having sent His Son to take upon Himself your sins.

Jesus lived the life you should live before God and died the death you deserve the life you actually live. He rose. You rose with Him in the waters of your Baptism.

Because of this, there is loads more to thank God for giving you! The meaning of the First Article from the Small Catechism can guide you. I have included it at the bottom of this post.

A blessed Thanksgiving to you and your family!

We Wii

So .... the boys combined their birthday and Christmas money and got themselves a Wii.

I must say...

The youth group boys said for us to get a 360. The youth group girls said that they'd baby sit for free if we got a Wii. I use "we" here in the most limited sense, since I'm quite sure that my wife got a Wii. [ read more ]
