Tennis, anyone?

Posted At: 5:01pm by Sandra Ostapowich

My cousin, Hannah, is a tennis player.  A REALLY good one too.  The Minneapolis StarTribune ran an article about her in today's paper.

Apparently it's newsworthy stuff when a teenager puts her faith in Jesus and being a good student as a higher priority than sports.

See, Hannah chose to attend a small, private high school known for its emphasis on teaching and building up teens in their Christian faith and providing challenging academics for its students.  Instead of playing tennis on a team with her classmates at the public high school, competing in local, regional, and state tournaments, she practices and competes on her own and travels around the country to do so.  She's very blessed to have a family who can support this choice.  It takes a lot of work and commitment to be a nationally ranked tennis player.

Way to go, Hannah!
