Inadvertent and Occasionally Intentional Thoughts

The Strangest Thing in MY Office?

Posted On: March 02nd, 2006 at 9:18 am

How about the fact that I HAVE an office!  I'm still getting used to that idea.

I have just accepted the position of Christian Education and Youth Director at Mt. Olive Lutheran in Loveland, Colorado.

I'm so excited!  I'll be starting there as soon as I can find somewhere to live.

Right now, in my office is a desk and some file cabinets that I'm told have some pretty adventurous things lurking inside.  We shall see!

Is anything in a Youth Director's office REALLY all that strange?  What are some things that good Youth Director should have in her office?

How about a stack of the latest CDs from today's most popular CCM 'artists'? just kidding. A good solid theological library for your youth to borrow from...ummmm...Maybe some fun stuff like a beanbag? Just some thoughts! Good Luck!

If I were you, I'd keep a tazor underneath your desk incase the heathens, I mean, youth start to get a little unruly.

Good idea. Especially if someone like you should ever happen to visit...
