Here I Stand

It all just donned on me a couple days ago. 

I need to apply to college next week. 

Heh heh…Great. 

Yes, River Falls , I am seriously a legal citizen of the United States. I’ve already told you…I’m not an alien…Quit asking…I have to prove my citizenship in Wisconsin ?? This is like, the 15^th time already!! 

Yes, River Falls , my dad did finish college, thanks for asking. He has a job. He’s not an alien. 

Yes, River Falls , my mom is an alien. JUST KIDDING…No, no, you don’t have to ask me again…I was kidding, really… 

What’s my social security number again? 

Where’s my temporary Visa… 

…I mean… 

And then, just when I thought I had my personal statement all perfect, I found out I have to rewrite it.  

The concept isn’t all that difficult. Less than 500 words? Sheesh…I can handle that. All words have to be pertinent to the application question? Wait a minute…Only 500 words, you said? 

Let me grab an extra cup of coffee…This thing will get done yet…I’m not an alien…much…

Wow, is that an early application? I know I'm not starting applications for another couple months. But yeah, moving does kind of get in the way of that... I don't recommend moving at the beginning of senior year. ;)
