Not to mention the camp chairs, can opener, and Cecilia's bike helmet...
Thursday Morning could have been worse. That's all I'll say. The afternoon could have been worse too but I'm not gunna talk about that either. We got to Starved Rock State Park around 2ish... After we/the boys and Maggie set up, everbody but Maggie and I went on a short hike. I passed the time by reading Ceremony and Celebration and then we both drew all over an American Girl catologue.
The others had a good ol' time at the visitors center. Doesn't that look like one of the creepy wax figures from Night at the Museum?

They also went to "Lovers Leap" without me. <sniff> 9_6 I find the lack of an apostrophe quite funny.

When the Hubbards arrived we all pretended to be happy. (Or I should say *I* pretended to be happy) After they set up I discovered that there wasn't anywhere for me to sleep. We had a problem... but well. I slept on the back bench of the van every night. *not complaining* That night everyone roasted marshmallows I think... The only reason I'm not sure is 'cuz I was in the van having quite the uumm... interesting conversation with Mommy Darling.
Friday... Well I think I shall avoid talking about normal campsite life... We had a ton of fun hiking!
Look! Boys in a rock! Hehehe.

We saw these signs all over the trails. Quite ominous in my opinion.

At the campsite fun was had by most in "SPLAT" or Shady People Looking At Trailer. (They're sitting behind our trailer... )

Saturday is another blur... I do remember we had morning catechesis. And Stefan was really cute. But he's always cute.

Random Fact: I only sat by the campfire for a couple minutes Sunday night. Other than that I was a scrooge.
Sunday Mom started taking tons of pictures of me because I was pointing out that pictures of me are rare... I didn't go along with her little joke.

I'm gunna kill peeple with pictures... Sorry. Anyway... I made a sandcastle at one point and Philip Hubbard decided it was a pig and informed me that pigs are creepy. I'm not sure that he really said that but it sure sounded like it.
Monday, Today. We packed up and left as soon as poosible. We had planned a quick hike. Ha. Mom pulled into the little trailhead parking lot and managed to get the van and trailer stuck. We couldn't turn around! In the end we unhitched the trailer twice. First for no apparent reason and then Erik came up with a brilliant plan and we hooked it back up... I can't exactly describe what we did. But we triumphed in the end. Erik is wearing his victor face I suppose.

Eventually we got home and were greeted by a house that smelled suspect and Dad's new pal, Woody.
