Random Stuff (duh...)

Read this, and you shall see that there are people out there who are just as crazy as I am.

I'm debating over whether or not I should make that perky dress (the one with the stripes) with some crinkly black fabric I have... I have other sewing I need to do first. <sniff>

I've been going through all the obnoxious college info emails I've gotten so far (Agent Delta says it's just the beginning...), and I'm slapping myself. I put "music" as my intended magor on the PSAT so now I'm getting stuff from all sorts of colleges who offer majors in music. Jesuit school anyone? None of that helps with figgering out the Fashion Design thing so I need to do something about *that*. <grumblemumble>

I had some extraordinary fun with the Stove go- I mean the wood stove this (:p) morning... The whole house smells of smoke. Yippeeee.

Mischevious ebay bidding is on my agenda for today. Hehehe. <bounces away>

Yeah, that college info is really...well...a mix of fun and discouragement. At first you think, "Wow! A lot of schools want me!" and then you realize that they send out the stuff to every student on a big long list.
At first I was really excited by all the opportunites, but then I've slowly realized that I wouldn't be able to afford any of the really cool looking universities, and that the school I'll end up at won't have any extra special classes or opportunites that come with a bigger college. Bummer!
Ah well, such is life.

and have fun with the college fliers. Some of them can be quite hilarious. I especially enjoyed making fun of the CUW fliers. (Hee, hee) You'll see what I mean if you get them.

Emails, Man I feel old. I applied to college before the internet! (was commonplace). I ditched all the mail circulars into a big drawer under my bed. I think I had the equivalent of a tree under my bed. Blessings as you decide and shorten the list of potential colleges.
