Why Anna Should Have Remained Listless

Posted At: 9:53pm by Anan

Part two...

I scream in the middle of the night. ALL THE TIME. I used to do it alot and then for a year or so I didn't... untill recently. It makes me so mad! I keep waking Stefan up but not myself, so Mom has to get up with him. I don't know what's up that I've started screaming again. Like I'm more disturbed than usual or something. I think I'll go sleep on the couch tonight. :-(

Re: Why Anna Should Have Remained Listless

Dear Anan could not remain listless, because the Lord who loves her has good things in store for her, and more gifts to give - both to her and through her to others - than any one day (or year, or series of years) could contain.

Besides, like it or not, there are already young men standing in line to capture the affections of Anan; perhaps some who do not even know it yet. And while there may be no end to the number of friends she can have, there is only one who may be the man to whom the Lord will give Anan in His time, according to His good and gracious will. With or without a list, the Lord has this already in mind.

Be at peace. Christ is near with His cheer, and He shall never leave you nor forsake you; nor shall you ever be separated from His loving care for you. You cannot escape His presence; which, according to His Law, is a terrifying thing, but He is with you according to His grace and mercy and forgiveness. Whatever is amiss, He forgives. Whatever is broken, He repairs. Whatever is lacking, He supplies. Whatever is in doubt, He answers.

Whatever in the future is yet unknown, He has made Himself known to you, His own dear child, by His Word, and He shall not cease to speak it to you in love. All things else must have their day and finally pass away, but this Word of the Lord abides forever; and He with you forever. He is always the One at the head of your list.

Know that you belong to His Body and Bride, the Church. That is sure and certain. From heaven He has come and sought you out to be His very own. He sees no blemish or flaw or wrinkle or tarnish in you, but has adorned you with His own beautiful and perfect righteousness. There is no fault that is held against you. There is no final jeopardy in store for you, awaiting you. The Lord is ever watchful and awake, and behold, He gives to His beloved sleep.

Now rest beneath night's shadows, under the wings of Jesus and His holy angels. This child of God shall meet no harm.

Are they lining up with ladders? Now I'm worried that they'll climb in at my bedroom window. I can't sleep! I have to stay up all night with a baseball bat at my side to beat them off with. Thanks to you my Dad is going to lock me up in a tower. Good thing I cut my hair.

Are all those Russian Seminarians single or something? :p

No more vodka for you Pasto'.

p.s. I was already kinda tired and upset so you made me burst into tears. Not sure what kind of tears but they were there.
