If this aint suspicious I don't know what is. The Fort Wayne Seminary is having two retreats in February... One is for college age men http://www.ctsfw.edu/admission/academy/cacollege.php and the other is for college age women http://www.ctsfw.edu/admission/pacr/index.php. Ok. What is the significance? Weeeeell... They both start on (of all days) VALENTINES DAY. (Pastor Stuckwisch observed all of this and I'm just stealing it from him since he hasn't blogged about it.)
Just think of it... The men's packing list might include flowers and chocolates! Here be a quote from the deaconess retreat info: " The primary opportunity is for PACR to be centered around God's word and sacraments in Kramer Chapel with deaconess students, seminarians, and Christ Academy participants. Various activities and fellowship will accompany the weekend retreat. "
"Various activities" you say? Oh ho! Who could be the mastermind behind such a scheme? Any thoughts?
This. Is the funniest thing I have ever seen. And I know I say that a lot, but it's true.
"Various Activities", eh?
Hehe.. I'll be there that weekend for Christ Academy College:) As far as the Mastermind.. probably Pr. Dreyer, he doesn't want us all to end up like him :)
Hadn't looked at it that way before....!
Makes me rethink my decision whether to go or not.
I guess I'll just have to be careful.
I do find it funny that they start on Valentines day :)
