Another Basement Picture

Why must I always take pictures in the basement? Duh Anna! Because everywhere else there are little children running around and asking for a piece of cake. Silly me.
The middle is unfinished 'cuz that's where the second tier is supposed to go. Stinkin' crummy "lighting".
I'm ready for a nap now... Fake smile.

I'm afraid to *not* be too hard on myself because I'm VERY paranoid about people thinking I have a "big head".

I don't get to eat any of it! Isn't that tragic? I might whip up another cake with the extra cake mix (yes, I use cake mixes) to use up the leftover frosting.
There's a song that goes something like "If I'd known you were coming I'd have baked a cake" and if you did come visit I would doubtless feel compelled to make a cake. Just ask Aaron Nemoyer. :p

It really does look great -- and very tasty, too (although it's always hard to tell from a picture; how do we know it isn't made out of plastic or some such synthetic stuff?).
Too bad you don't get to sample your own wares. Doesn't seem quite fair.
Anyway, I also have no doubts that the cake you make for my Beanie-Belle will look and taste terrific. And I'm fairly certain that I'll get to eat some of that one
