Anan's (not-so) Randomness!

No quotation marks... We wouldn't want to seem too uppity, now would we?

Well... I don't know really.

Posted At: 11:44pm by Anan

As far as the whole Stephen's College thing goes... We don't know of any church in that area that is um... Of the Emmaus variety. That (as I stated before) is a big issue.

Also I would be missing four whole stinkin' school years of said Emmaus services! Not only does this harm me, but also all the poor people of Emmaus who rely on my presence. Because they just want to be happy. Right girls? What, I ask you, my faithful readers, will these people do in my absence? I surely hope that they will not bodily perish, but there seems to be some potential for that! I don't want to murder them!

So I must offer my sincere apologies now, because... who knows? Maybe I won't want to apologise when I actually leave because then I wouldn't be able to make myself go! <is being just a little silly>

Random Stuff (duh...)

Posted At: 2:35pm by Anan

Read this, and you shall see that there are people out there who are just as crazy as I am.

I'm debating over whether or not I should make that perky dress (the one with the stripes) with some crinkly black fabric I have... I have other sewing I need to do first. <sniff>

I've been going through all the obnoxious college info emails I've gotten so far (Agent Delta says it's just the beginning...), and I'm slapping myself. I put "music" as my intended magor on the PSAT so now I'm getting stuff from all sorts of colleges who offer majors in music. Jesuit school anyone? None of that helps with figgering out the Fashion Design thing so I need to do something about *that*. <grumblemumble>

I had some extraordinary fun with the Stove go- I mean the wood stove this (:p) morning... The whole house smells of smoke. Yippeeee.

Mischevious ebay bidding is on my agenda for today. Hehehe. <bounces away>

  1. Pick up the nearest book (of at least 123 pages).
  2. Open the book to page 123.
  3. Find the fifth sentence.
  4. Post the next three sentences.
  5. Tag five people.
  6. Tag another person.

If I have too...

In all these cases, timbre is playing an important role in helping us to unlock the code. How can we study neural codes and learn to interpret them? Some neuroscientists start by studying neurons and their characteristics- what causes them to fire, how rapidly they fire, what their refractory period is (how long they need to recover between firings); we study how neurons communicate with eachother and the role of neurotransmitters in conveying information to the brain.

I tag everbody. :p Yeah... Like they'll actually do anything about it.

Not Giddy Anymore?

Posted At: 11:12pm by Anan

So maybe I'm not bouncing around anymore. But it was an exciting experience, to be HAPPY for a day. I should do that more often. I would have lots more bubble skirts! Awesiome.

::hides in a corner and squeeks::  I think I owe y'all hugs... ::hyperventilates:: That's *one* each you fiends! I have brothers and I know how to use 'em!

Dress pattern anyone?!?!?

It's so cool...

That title doesn't mean anything... 'tis truly random.

I just thought I should tell you all that snow really *is* cold. Crazy isn't it? And I went outside in a light dust of snow last night... BAREFOOT. *gasp* It wasn't very original of me but I actually had a reason for doing so. Ya see there were these rolled oats that I had to carry out to a van RIGHT THAT INSTANT. By some happy chance I happened to be barefoot at the time.

Also it's vital that I tell y'all that I'm tired of seeing guys in sweatpants. All sorts of people come in to HH (Heavenly Ham) wearing sweatpants. I don't care if it's Saturday!!! I am *NOT* going to stare back at people who are wearing sweatpants. I only wish I could glare disapprovingly but that wouldn't be such a good idea. Ditch the sweatpants peeple!!!! GREG!!!!! ("Greg" is what spellchek says "Arg" should be.)

Stuphph

Posted At: 11:39pm by Anan

I'm still sick of titles...

Maggie darling wrote an incredible blog post today: http://crazyvogelhaver.blogspot.com/2008/01/growing-pains.html . Now I can't type fast enough.

I think every "siblingal position" is equally hard. I (semi) know what a youngest child has to deal with... (I think some youngest children say being the youngest is easy just to make oldest chillins envious.) The youngest has the reputations of the older children to live up to. I have to set that standard and make that reputation to be lived up to! At least the younger kid has a water mark. I'm inclined to be a lazy good-for-nothing so my siblings won't have much to compete with.

I'm tired of "casting a shadow" and that's why I was so excited when Erik became taller than me. (GO ERIK! GO!) It's even worse when my friends feel even the slightest bit overshadowed by my accomplishments. Several years ago I had the fight of the century with someone who was a good friend at the time. She was upset because I was playing out of her piano book... It seems I do that sort of stupid thing all the time! I wasn't doing anything wrong but just the simple act of whipping through a piano piece offended this friend. <sigh>

I "try hard" to make sure that I ooh and aah over other people's projects. It's not like I'm faking it or anything but sometimes I get so wrapped up in my own stuphph that I forget that other folks would appreciate a kind word now and then. Advice: Never associate anything my friends do with something I did. Otherwise I'll either strangle you or suck your blood.

I must say that even though Maggie plays organ and I play organ, etc... (I hope you read her post) She has excellent tempo and I don't. When it comes to piano she can memorize things and I rarely manage it, also she can use dynamics... :p She's best at being a friend (even when she tries to strangle me...)

The Pattern of Awesiomeness

Posted At: 2:19pm by Anan

(This is pretty much a blog post just to keep my blog from getting bleeped. I promise it won't be horrendous.)

Remember the awesiome sixteen gore 40s dress pattern? Well it's mine, my own, precious. I'm making it in "dark rust twill". 'twill (haha) have long sleeves and an awesome waist tie. Bla bla bla.

No, I didn't write "PASTOR" in the snow!!!

Where am I? Oh yeah... Our "Happy Room" is almost done. We just need to sand and stain the floor. Not to mention putting switchplates on and hooking up the lighting. (The Happy Room used to be our garage.)

I'm still recovering from New Years. You can read all about it at Mostly Harmless. NOTE: I didn't run out in the snow barefoot, and Maggie and I sang " I Hope You Dance" which was very scandalous for us.
