Suddenly the forties are looking pretty awesome to me. I just told Matthew what he has to get me for Christmas. :p I'm not going to post a picture 'cuz someone would take it.

This one is even awesomer but it's $40.

I don't think I'll be able to sleep tonight. It has a SIXTEEN GORE SKIRT!!!! <insert gleeful screaming here>

Talk about unrealistic... If I ever made a Civil War costume this would be it. <sigh>

La dee da... I've been inspired to live out of a suitcase. Of course this would start after I move out of this house. Just think of the possibilities! Y'all know how much I love packing. <coughcampingcough> I would never have to pack again! People just might think this is weird of me. Whatev' :-D

I have a formula for a typical boy. Correct me if I'm wrong. Stomach (A.K.A. Food, eating... you get it), Gun noises, Cars (preferably fast and shiny), and um Girls (that one is Pastor Stuckwisch's idea). I must also add that boys are like waffle squares. (Of course girls are like plates of spaghetti.)

My darling Mother loves herring. She eats it whenever she can. No one else likes herring. We all gag at herring. Good thing we love our Mother more than we hate herring. Our van smells of herring. Oh well.

Does "Stuff?" counts as a subject? Yes. Hum dee ho... I feel like being Crypto-girl so bear with me. (Or don't... I really don't care either way.)

This is what haunts me. Not in a bad way. It can still haunt me though.

Sad puppy eyes. I can't say anything else 'cuz then I wouldn't be quite so cryptic.

I'm way to stressed... (Not by the puppy) More tea!!! :-p Let's see how few sentences I can put in a blog post!

Words of wisdom for the day: Never put down carpet in any house you ever live in. Carpet is evil. Remember that.

Aren't we cute? Don't answer that. This is Erik, Matthew and I in Gotland, Sweden (2005). We're looking for fossils... Did y'all know Tolkien's Middle Earth was inspired (in part) by Gotland? Now you do.

Prell is the only reason to shop at Walmart. It's the wonder shampoo <nods>. Not only does it work great on greasy headed little boys but it's also the miracle acne cure. Really. It's like magic!

<is vague> So... I have the weirdest problems on earth. In fact there are few 16 year old girls who would consider them problems, but I do.

Aside from that... I'm far too easily annoyed lately. I'm sick of being followed around by people. I get peeved when people ask me the same question every day when they could answer it for themselves by simply using logical thought. I get annoyed with myself because I micro-manage my siblings ("adopted" and otherwise) at times and it doesn't help. In fact it just makes them resent me.

Yesterday I discovered that I shouldn't drink caffine. Never mind why. <sniff> Oh cruel world!

I intend to unsubscribe from Mouth House, and no one can stop me. It isn't like people are clinging to every word I type (far from it).

My next "cake goal" is to make a car cake. With all my spare time...

I'm back in my sewing "groove" and I've finally finished the jacket that goes with the dress that gave me so much fitting trouble. No pics yet... I made my first covered buttons and now I'm hooked! They're so AWEXOME! Ish read somewhere that it's easier to make covered buttons if you wet the fabric down first. It was super easy and I'm tempted to start sewing more stuff with butons so I can make more covered buttons. Did I mention that *covered buttons* are awexome? Well they are.

I have yet to finish the pink and black polka dot dress... Hopefully it will emerge *finished* from the basement in the very near future. Really. I mean it.

Mom and I both love this wedding gown. It's got to be the best wedding dress pattern I've ever seen. The best part is that it's a *winter* dress! Reason for a winter wedding: Dad would want to have the reception in our back yard if it was a summer wedding. Ack! Can you imagine preparing for that? No! No! No! I would be out mixing cement to finish off the Italian wall thingy the day before. (or some such nonsense)  Need I say more? I thought of that reason *YEARS* ago. Honestly. I think I came up with it right after Dad started talking about back yard wedding receptions.

Well... that was all not-so random. More like plain-old dress obsessed.

Well I'm sick of them...

I am still on the never ending quest for a winter dress pattern. I would post the one I like the most but then some rash person would order it and I don't want that happening. I suppose I could just put up the picture...

Hehehe. I want to lengthen the skirt of course. Notice I cropped it so you can't search the pattern number.

In other news... We're leaving to go camping on Thursday and we'll be back Monday night. (Not that y'all would notice my absence since I don't exactly post every day. ) Dad is staying home to work on home improvement. I suspect there will be ample socializing on the side. <waggles finger> He's *supposed* to be working! Don't be too distracting. Y'know... dropping by just to say "hi". That sort of thing. ;-p If you intend on helping then that's another matter. Please avoid breaking hammers. lol

I got at least a six inch haircut yesterday. Layers and everything. Bad me didn't donate to the locks 'o love thing. That organization isn't necessarily trustworthy anyway. Like not really donating all the wigs. Anyway... It's great to be able to wear my hair down. No longer will it get stuck in church basement chairs! WoOt!!! <makes face at chairs>

Ish must go pack camping stuff.
