Keep Mouth House Alive!!

Posted At: 11:46am by Anan

Please.

I just re-subscribed! Don't kill Mouth House! We all (us MHers) just need to restrain our emailing numbers. Think "do I *really* need to say something in reply to this?" Like always sending countless "Yes" and "No" messages... is it vital? Or just sending random nonsense simply to say something. <insert oldest sister face here>

Swedes: On Thursday we hung out at home and went to the beach in the afternoon. Cecilia and Tommy wanted to kite surf- http://www.kite-surf.com/galleries/showpics_fullfolder.php?categoryname=Kinsley+Wong+at+Rio+Vista+shot+by+Daniel+Gallet&folder=kwong   but there wasn't enough wind. It must be a mostly European thing cuz we'd never heard of it before.

Friday we went to Fernwood Botanical Gardens in Mich. and got rained on... Saga and Axel liked looking at the frogs and being CUTE!!!!  In the evening Grandma and Grandpa M. came over bearing steak. BEEF!!!!!! It was *real* too! Blogger Smiley and cake and brownies. After dinner they started talking politics at which point I fled to the basement and proceeded to make another skirt. (the third that week...)

Yesterday we went to Shipshewanna and then to an Amish friend's house for dinner and pony cart rides. Saga and Axel really liked the playground. I would catch Saga at the bottom of the slide and make her fly "Saga flyga!" The twins only speak Swedish. But most of the time I was a silent oldest child along with the two oldest Amish children.

I smell bacon... Hehehe. It's real as well. No rubber bacon for us. Or rubber eggs or bread or cheese... <sigh> I leave now to read other peeple's blogs like a good MHer.

VICTORY!!!!

Posted At: 10:51pm by Anan

MWAHAHAHAHA!!!! Pluto isn't a planet!!!! I'm *SO* happy! Those e-vile plutonians got what they deserve. Hmph. So there "Christoher"!

In other news... : <sniff> I unsubscribed from MH. I know there are a lot less e-mails right now but I can't get back on right away.

The Swedes are arriving around 2 am tomorrow. We've been cleaning like mad peeple and such... The boys, Dad, and the dreaded Tyler ripped up the carpet in the dining room and Dad, Uncle Steve, and I sanded and "polied" it. The sander was this cheap rental thing which someone had to stand on to make it work. I got to do it once. FUN!!! Have you ever ridden a sander? I didn't think so... Dad also got the main part of the baseboard up in two rooms and several door jams up. It looks so nice! '

Back when Aaron had just left for River Forest I found out that Dad has a hernia (spelling?) :p I wasn't surprised considering all the work he's been doing. I think he has a fear of hospitals or something... I can't blame him.

I realized yesterday that I'll be able to bike to the new Wally World that's being built. Ya' know what that means? SEWING STORE!!!! WOOT! Within reach... <e-vile chuckle> It's not JoAnn's but close enough. <sits backwards on chair>

-Anna who knows she doesn't need to sign and who misses MH

What insane me be doing of late

Posted At: 9:07pm by Anan

Grammar that bad fun.

I've been slaving over the stairs when I'm not laughing my head off with Lydia and Maggie. But now they left for Ohio and I'm all alone. <sniff> Saturday night we stayed up talking till 12:34 a.m. (on purpose cuz of the 1234 factor) and we went to church at Emmaus Sunday morning.

On Monday we went to sit and knit and we sat and knat. After dinner we sat around watching LotR just to look at the different dresses and Maggie chatted untill she relinquished it to me. Hehehe... The Nemoyers arrived around 10:30 at which point I stopped annoying my fellow chatees and started throwing Paulrus back and forth with Aaroon.  We ate the Firefox cake near midnight and I foolishly left the bread knife I used for cutting it within reach of Aaroon.... What's wrong with me?!?!?!?!? Aaroon then annoyed Maggie to death. It was FUN. Maggie doesn't seem to realize that such things are FUN. I have four brothers which makes me immune to such things (except in one especially agrivating case). We talked untill 3 am but Aaroon claims it was 4. The insane boy stayed up and listened to us. Ack!

I got up at seven so I could eat and talk and stuphph before going to my orthodontist app. We actually had time to play most of a game of Apples to Apples. Poor Aaroon had never played it before! I got "Cute", "Charismatic" and "Virtuous" Ick! Ick! Ick!!!! Mom got to meet Aaroon so Dad will believe that he's real now. :p :b We picked Maggie and Lydia up from the Rhein's in the afternoon to go swimming at a local pool. Bla bla bla...

Wednesday we went down to Indianapolis to visit my cake and the boys' honey and to beat Maggie to a pulp. My cake is all faded and is stuck in this glass case which apparently keeps the humidity in thus making to flowers etc. droop. Needless to say I wasn't too happy about it. Erik and Matthew both got blue ribbons and Matthew was all cute looking at everyone's honey and commenting on it. We ran into the Crabtrees by the honey display. Rebecca Crabtree got Grand Champion in honey down at state which is really cool. Matthew told me like five times how the St. Joe. peeple had done the best bla bla bla in his very matter of fact way. Aaaaaaaaaawwww!

Today I painted and stuphph. The dreaded Tyler came to help Dad with the trim. Now I'm really tense and tired. Off I go to paint some more... I'll be sure to post pictures of this gigantic project when ever I get around to posting any pictures at all.

Ananish Stuphph

Posted At: 11:22pm by Anan

I'm working on sanding our stairs etc. in order to re-paint them. The person who did last time made a mess of it. I cringe whenever I look closely. Incidentally this "person" decided to drop in on us this summer and brag about all the work he did on this house. (i.e. the electrical the floor staining...) Dad had to re-do the electrical and wondered (in a rather un-calm way) who in the world had done it before. I'm sure meeting this guy was a trial.

Lydia E. is coming Saturday (I think) she's staying at Maggie's the whole time I'm pretty sure but we'll no doubt get together. I don't think we would ever sleep if she stayed here. We're the girls who stayed up till at least 1 am talking... Yes, Aaroon I know you've stayed up later...

Our smart Swedish relatives Cecilia and Tommy with their almost 2yo twins Saga and Axel and Cecilia's mother Britt are coming to visit September 1-4. I can't wait!!!!!!! (btw... Swedes rule) Did I mention that Swedes rule? Well they do. And Gotland,Sweden is a close tie with Stockholm (Sweden duh... :-) for the coolest place in the universe.  Axel is pronounced like my name(On-a), "Oxel". NOT like the car part. Hmph.

My cake technically got second place at state fair but they only give out Grand Champion ribbons. No Reserves alas. This actually was their first year awarding Grand in cake so bla bla bla...

Going to bed soon...

The Awe Inspiring Ironing Board Cover Quote

Posted At: 4:06pm by Anan

"there's something rather magical about ironing. you take your rumpled-up life. spritz a little water on it. run an iron over it. and presto everything's new again. the wrinkles of yesterday have vanished right before your very eyes and there you are. looking fresh. feeling sharp. ready to take on the world." ~deluxe ironing board pad and cover set

LOG and no, that isn't my grammar. <sniff> I'm just so inspired!!!! I think I'll go put this magical ironing board cover on, read the manual to my new iron, and iron stuphph! Yippy!!!!!

Posted At: 10:09pm by Anan

I guess not. I have this really awesome thing from an ironing board cover label that I want to post but y'all will have to wait. Hehehe. Cuz I'm tired.

4H again!

Posted At: 10:00pm by Anan

I may "hate the words 'Grand Champion'" but whether I like it or not, that's what's written on the giant ribbon I found taped to my cake this evening! I couldn't believe it! I walked up behind the person who was looking at it and went "Oh-my-gosh."  It was so weird to have averyone (including peeple I don't know) congratulating me! I also can't believe that the cake is already back home and on the dining room table. Didn't I just get rid of this thing this morning? Ack! But  I need to get it to my cake leader before her store closes on Wednesday and we also need to protect it form little poking fingers. Right after the judging they took pictures and they put them in little frames to replace the actual cakes on the display shelves. <Remembers that not all peeple know everything about 4H> Grand Champion means The Best of all (125ish) the cakes!

Mom was all teary eyed and stuff. 6_9 This is my last year in cake. Yippy! You're not supposed to see that. It's not my last year in 4H though, I just can't handle cake decorating anymore.

<freaks some more> I thought I'd never get a grand champion ribbon! Muffin! (acnowledgments to Mister Sir) Big Shiny Muffin!

BTW... I don't have a big head. NO I DON'T! <hopes that any one who might think so are reading this> :b
