A little over a week ago I decided to rush off and change into my pjs while Sita was attempting to brush her teeth (I usually brush them and then let her try to for a minute or two). Yay! Third post this year!
Life has settled down here after the birth of little Susan Camille. I am definitely a fan of 2nd baby births! It went so much faster than with Sita.
The contractions started around 4 in the morning on the 17th (of September--4 days late) and by the time we we went to hospital at 8ish I was pretty sure it was the real thing but, though the contractions [ read more ]

Okay, I'm going to try and start posting here again! My plan was to start writing at least once a week after my last post and here it is, what, 6 months later and not a peep! Yesterday at 1:50 PM Thomas August Kavouras was finally born! He was born to my brother and sister-in-law, Theo and Danylle Kavouras. This is Saranita's fifth cousin from those two. He joins Lily, 10; Marina, 8 (two days ago); Theodore, 5(6 days ago) and Deano, 3. Yes, that right, over the course of 8 days that family now has Christmas and three birthdays!

The other day, I tried to give Sita (who is almost 15 months now) a bath--tried is the key word  So, I stick her in the tub and before she even sat down she pees all over herself :-/ After contemplating washing her in her own pee, I decide to get fresh water.
