This is "Welcome Week" here at Indiana University, and one of the "highlights" that they really push is Culture Fest, which took place this evening. As they put it "Here at IU we are big on diversity."

Well, I am now officially moved in to my dorm room on the campus of Indiana University in Bloomington, IN. Dad, Pook and I left around 8:30 this morning and drove down here, checked in, unloaded, walked around a wee bit and then Dad and Pook had to head back.
I've spent the past several hours unpacking and the fact that I'm now ON MY OWN hasn't really sank in yet. I'm sure tomorrow [ read more ]

Lately I have decided to once again try and watch all of the movies on AFI's top 100 movie list. I tend to do this every couple of years, watch a few, and then promptly forget about it for a few years I plan and have them all done by the age 36 (and I've watched juuust over half, 52 or so).
