These past 7 weeks and 3 days have been pretty crazy! They've mostly consisted of nursing, playing, cuddling, trying to get some sleep now and then, and did I mention nursing? Saranita is such a beautiful and adorable little girl!
I've been meaning to blog for, oh, about 7 weeks now but every time I would start to type, I would get distracted by a fussy or hungry little girl

Saranita Kay Kavouras is now out and about in the world!
She was born at 5:02 am today, a nice healthy 7 lbs 3 oz. She is, indeed, a girl.
It was a long night for poor Naomi! She went to the hospital early afternoon yesterday, her doctor wanted to induce labor because Naomi had very high blood pressure. As of 10:30 last night things were "moving along" and it sounded [ read more ]

When did it become acceptable to wear spandex in public?!
Last I heard, spandex was only allowed in two places: at the gym and on super-heroes. Clearly I've missed something somewhere along the line. Was there a memo? I'm confused . . . and horrified. [ read more ]
